Imagery

Our photography is modern, intentional and editorial. Real people in real light, in moments that feel found rather than staged.

    Photography

We photograph the energy of working life. Natural light, candid moments and shallow depth of field that pulls the eye to what matters.

    Guidance

These principles keep every shoot consistent, honest and editorial.
    • Composition

Teammates talking in the office, framed with care

Arrange office elements and the way people move through them into deliberate compositions. Find angles that show the energy of the workplace without relying on faces.

    • Shallow depth of field

A hand on a laptop mouse with a soft background

Shoot wide open, around f/2.8 or wider, so the background falls away. Use selective focus to draw the eye to hands, tools and details.

    • Natural light

Woman reviewing work in soft daylight

Use daylight whenever you can, and soften any other light so it leaves no harsh shadows.

    • Real moments

Man smiling during a video call

Capture candid moments that show how the team works. Hands on a keyboard, a pen on a notebook, two people solving something together.

    • Detail tells the story

Let the objects of the working day say something about the culture. Tools, technology and the small things people keep on their desks.

    • Professional and private

Woman reviewing a workflow on screen

Keep every image respectful. Nothing sensitive or confidential appears on a screen, a whiteboard or a desk in the background.

    • Fresh perspective

Mix overhead shots, close-ups and wide angles. Use reflections, shadows and framing to give the set variety.

    • Subtle grading

Man putting in a wireless earbud, graded cool and slightly desaturated

Keep editing light so images stay natural. Pull color back slightly and grade cool so the set sits with the brand palette.

    Backgrounds

When a literal photo would distract, use the brand bloom's own gradient and halftone, held still, alone or together.
